Music has been my passion for 25 years.

I spent much of my teenage years playing guitar in my basement and writing songs. After studying Education in university, I was hired as an elementary music educator with the Thames Valley District School Board. For over 15 years, I have instructed over a thousand students on wind and string instruments and had the experience of learning from countless amazing students and educators.

I began to consider a career in audio engineering during the pandemic, when I spent my free time working on a hobby basement studio. I had some experience with recording and live sound over twenty years as a musician, but creating a recording space and researching new techniques became an obsession. In 2023, I decided to take a leave of absence from teaching to attend the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART), where I spent an intense year learning from several industry professionals and working in multiple recording studios. Now I get to live my dream job - spending most of the day obsessing over recording, learning new techniques, and mixing local bands. Since graduating, I have spent the time updating the studio, recording and mixing.

I live in London Ontario with my wife and two children, where I continue to learn and seek new opportunities working with musicians and artists in the area.
